More totally 80s Pepsi Dance Trax clips!

I got a facebook message from a veteran Pepsi Dance Trax attendee Wendee Bush that she had found a dusty VHS in storage that may have some episodes of the show. Well I was all over that and so here we have some new clips. Little time-portals into fall of 1989 with all of the hair, clothes and synchronized dance moves...

Special bonus on this one, I left in some very 80s area commercials, including "Sound & Video Appliance" and "Chic University of Cosmetology" ...

  1. Jef -- I worked at 104.5 when it was based in Muskegon, and I stumbled on some tapes of this show when our staff hosted. They're on VHS and I really don't have anything to play them on, so if you're interested, drop me a line. jojogirard@gmail.com

  3. I worked on most of the shows... floor camera and occasional TD. The Club Eastbrook shoots were 4 at a time and pretty early on Saturday. I worked all the shows at Top of the Rock, which I seem to recall we shot at night. It was a lot of fun, dance music was hot, and the kids on the show were great. The staff at WXMI was a group of people that truly liked each other, and really enjoyed the creativity we could add to a looser-form show like Dance Trax. Good Times, thanks for posting the video!

  4. I was on every week, my friends and I brought a few different wardrobes because of all taping. did alot of sweating. Tried googling the show and there are about 5 videos and I didn't see myself in them. Would of been cool to see how geeky I looked back then with my Flock of Seagulls hair cut.
