Remember this.... ?

Randomly saw this on a truck while walking around.  I did continue to listen to WLAV's "underground radio" even after they moved it over to AM. Which I guess would have probably been the most recent time I've listened to AM radio. 1996?

  1. I loved that 1340am station so much! Clam Bake was where I discovered the majority of music I still enjoy today, but 1340am felt like a community. I'm grateful to still have that in a much larger sense at 90.3fm KEXP in Seattle. But no Doug and Tom obsessing over orange soda and Insane Clown Posse... which is just fine.

  2. I did a local music show on 1340AM for a while with Rudy Faber. Good times with lots of Five Day Rain, Rollinghead and an occasional Retard Bus song.

  4. Who cares really? WLAV-FM album rock was the tits. An amazing station format that just doesn’t exist anymore. Great time hanging out with the jocks, building rafts for the raft race, late night comedy and OTR on Saturdays. Nirvana.
