I had forgotten about this movie and only just got around to checking it out because I remembered it featured
DJs Lounge while it was still standing in 2010. Was surprised to see just how much Grand Rapids is featured!
I decided to compile screenshots here of all the locations I could pick out.
If you have not already seen
30 Minutes or Less and have any interest, stop reading and just go see it! Half the fun of that movie for G.R. people is seeing all the familiar sights. If you like Jesse Eisenberg, Danny McBride or Aziz Ansari, they're all as entertaining as ever and the whole thing is a fun ride.
After watching it, come on back and compare notes on all the G.R. places used ....

I may be wrong but I think this building in the post credits is in the plaza at Kalamazoo and 44th |
The building/house with all the cars/boats/motor homes in front of it is in Traverse City.
ReplyDeleteAwesome. I was wondering about that! Didn't look familiar...
DeleteMy daughter's classmate lived in that house. In 2016 They actually sold it maybe 2 yrs ago. It's by Knapp and beltline. Pretty nice inside. The moms master bathroom and walk in closet, to die for.
DeleteThat house with all the cars in front of it is on Grand River and Northland dr. You can see it when you are coming from Rockford, and the house is for sale
ReplyDeleteAnd the post credits scene is on Plainfield and 96 next to Wendy's
ReplyDeleteQuite sure the scrapyard is Padnos on Turner.
ReplyDeleteHey Jeff, I had a 79 Pinto Wagon. We crammed 7 people in that sumbitch in 87 and drove it from my house on Calhoun St. By Godwin Hardware, all the way to the Silverdome in Ponticrack to see Pink Floyd. The auto trans would get hung up in second. We we're screening down 96, but we made it there and back!
ReplyDeleteThe house was one of my buddies near versluis park in Northview/northland drive area. It is now owned by Johnny Brann. Used to hold my fantasy football drafts in that place.
